Applications: Tailored for Success
Whether you have a Bermuda or Zoysia lawn, each application is thoughtfully designed to address specific needs:
A full season of lawn care includes 7 applications as described below:
Application #1 – January/February: First round of Pre-emergent herbicide is placed on the lawn before the weeds start to grow. This stops weeds in their tracks before they have a chance to grow. By applying pre-emergent in the late winter or early spring, you will have less of a problem with weeds as the year progresses. Post-emergent herbicide is also applied at this time to treat existing broadleaf weeds.
Application #2 – March/April: Apply second round of Pre-emergent and post-emergent herbicides.
Application #3 – April/May: Apply first round of slow-release granular fertilizer to promote green growth and healthy plant roots. Spot treat broadleaf and grassy weeds using post-emergent herbicide.
Application #4 – June/July: Apply second round of slow-release granular fertilizer to promote green growth and healthy plant roots. Spot treat broadleaf and grassy weeds using post-emergent herbicide.
Application #5 – August/September: Apply third round of slow-release granular fertilizer to promote green growth and healthy plant roots. Spot treat broadleaf and grassy weeds using post-emergent herbicide.
Application #6 – September/October: Apply first round of Fall pre-emergent designed to control cool-season weeds that would appear in your lawn during the winter and early spring months. Spot treat broadleaf and grassy weeds using post-emergent herbicide
Application #7 – November/December: Apply second round of Fall pre-emergent designed to control cool-season weeds that would appear in your lawn during the winter and early spring months. Spot treat broadleaf and grassy weeds using post-emergent herbicide.
